Episode 031! and it’s late, I’m so so sorry! Noisy Neighbours, Illness and then locking myself out my own website… it’s been one of those weeks.
Anyway, this is all about my trip up north to Bradford for Airecon. There’s also the News and Kickstarters and THREE weeks worth of new releases.
Here are links to the sites I talk about on the show…
Top 5 Games: I Hate That Everyone Loves
Episode 030b! and it’s part two of two. This week I cover my trip to Essen with travel, food, games, food, hygiene and food.
Nothing much more to say! (more…)
Episode 030a! and it’s part one of two. This week has one game I played at Essen but before the show started. Then we have the new releases (not as many this time thankfully!) and a bit of news which is mostly announced games. Then we have some projects from Kickstarter including one sad one and one I backed.
No end topic, but next week there will be something extra.
Episode 030b, will be all about Essen 2016 and what I saw and played there… So there’s that 🙂 (more…)
Episode 029! and I attend the UK tabletop Networking Jam in London where designers got together to talk game design (Which is why Jam makes your game better!)
I talk about the lack of sights and mildly abusive sounds of London as well as the lovely, intelligent people of the networking event itself and all their very clever prototypes.
There are LOADS of new releases and LOADS of Kickstarters and LOADS of announced games… Plan now where that money will go!
Episode 028! and I look at 10 games for Essen that deserve my time and attention and maybe my precious Euros.
I look at the games I’ve played recently that are VERY new and cover ALL 30 the new releases (some quicker than others), a load of (well, 10) Kickstarters
I also take a trip around the world and talk about some conventions including 3 I could be attending.
Episode 000! and a starter point to join the show as I talk about me, my blog and this podcast.
I also look at what the term ‘Cult of the New’ means with contributions from the Board Game Geek Guild.
I then go on to do my Top 25 Games of All Time!
Thank you if you’ve been listening previously and ‘welcome’ if you’re new 🙂
Episode 27! and I’ve played games around the Mediterranean, the Silver Screen and the ‘Verse.
There are a few “Legendary” new releases and some pretty nice expansions to good games for you to spend your money on!
Not much in the News to talk about but it’s made up for in the Following as we look to Kickstarter for Vikings, Aliens and all kinds of
Fun at the Fair!
Thank you to everyone who listened over the last 12 months.
Episode 26! and I have a fairly long list of games I’ve played but not spoke about yet so I figured I’d put them all in a Top 10 list!
I take a road trip through some Zombies in Cult of the Now, Mention that same game in Cult of the New, Excellence in Cult of the News and Green Fields in The Following…
In the Gathering I do a top 10 of the games I’ve played over the last year but haven’t spoken about on the show yet… I needed to clear that list! 🙂
Sorry for the lack of energy and overly quick talking, it’s been a busy, tiring week here! I’ll be back on it next episode in time for v2 😉
Episode 25! and I talk about how I couldn’t Escape the Aliens from Outer Space even when they’re on the shelf.
We have a tonne of new releases and plenty of news as companies continue to gobble each other up plus iOS news and a few Kickstarter projects.
But this episode is about Gen Con 2016 and all the new stuff your money is going to be devoted to over the next 6 months.
Episode 24! and I talk about Scythe and why I’m a bit ‘meh’ about it even though it looks AMAZING!
We have some Ice Cool new releases, controversy and re-themes in the news, Walking Dead in The Following and exciting news about the future of the podcast at the end of the show.
But before that, I finish with my Top 10 iOS games, or you could call it a random list of games you can play on your iOS device that don’t require brain power!
